About this service
The transitional school program provides
a comprehensive off-site, centre-based program to transition individuals who have been removed from the public school classroom back into the general education classroom. This program uses the same resources as the Comprehensive Academic Intensive program however it is intended as a temporary 6 month program.
Transitional school programs combine the academic and intensive behaviour programs to transition students who have been unsuccessful in the public school environment. Students attend school at the centre until behavioural stability is achieved and then are gradually transitioned back into the public school setting.
