About this service
Ronald McDonald Family Rooms provide an oasis of calm and support inside the walls of the hospital, allowing families to be just steps away from their child receiving medical care. Today there are 16 Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in pediatric hospitals across Canada. In June 2011, we opened a Ronald McDonald Family Room in partnership with The Moncton Hospital. Our Moncton Family Room offers a comfortable and supportive space for families to take a break from their daily hospital routine while enjoying some of the familiar comforts of home. Whether its a cup of coffee, a shower, or a hot meal, our Family Room is a place for families to relax, refresh and recharge. At 900 sq ft, the Moncton Family Room includes a kitchen, a play area, and a comfortable lounge with TV and Internet access.
