It is for single parents, male or female, with dependant children under 16 who have goals established, working, going to higher education etc. St James Court Housing can accommodate up to 3 children w/2 of the same gender sharing a room up to 6 years of age. The cost for housing is roughly 30% of the parents income.There is a long waiting list and so it can take time to get in. I cannot estimate how long because my role is to answer questions, take in the applications and forward them to St. James Court Inc. Board. Once this is done St. James Court Inc will send a letter to confirm that the application is on file. Some final details to consider are that there are no pets and no overnight partners, either male or female are allowed and that all units are non-smoking.
