About this service
Addiction and mental health social workers and/or nurses provide timely and well-coordinated responses to people who are experiencing a mental health crisis and who require assessment or intervention in the community. Mobile Crisis Units provide interventions to defuse situations in the community to individuals and families outside of the usual hours of operations including evenings and weekends. Assessment and crisis intervention occur in the persons own environment or the environment of their choice.
