Maplehurst Middle School

Welcome to the website of Maplehurst Middle School, the newest school in the Anglophone East School District. Maplehurst Middle is a grade 6 8 school that will open with approximately 600 students and 40 staff. This is going be an amazing facility offering many options for innovative learning spaces including a Learning Commons, music rooms, a cafetorium with a stage area for student talent, science labs, art rooms, technology and culinary labs, a triple gymnasium, multipurpose rooms, and 30 modern classroom spaces. We are currently working with students, staff and our parent community to build a collective vision for what we want our school to be known for. The energy everyone is feeling has built a momentum for us to set our sights high as we plan for our official opening. In the fall, students and staff will be graciously housed by our feeder schools, Evergreen Park and Northrop Frye, until our official opening. We will, however, operate as Maplehurst Middle School until our facility is ready for us to move in. The transition plan for the fall is being developed and will be shared as soon as the details are finalized. Your administrative team and teachers are thrilled to be part of this journey and we look forward to supporting our community as we grow and learn together.
