MAGMA - Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP)

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP) is a program for New Brunswick employers to hire foreign skilled workers and recent international graduates who want to live and work in New Brunswick. As a Designated Settlement Service Provider Organization, MAGMA must work with the designated employers to provide needs assessments and settlement plans to all candidates, already residing in the country, who possess a formal job offer and whose potential employers have been designated by the province as eligible to participate in the AIPP. In addition, needs assessments and settlement plans are also required for all family members of the candidate who are 18 years old or over whether they are in Canada or in their countries of origin. The hope is that by offering needs assessments and settlement plans to the entire family, the families will be more aware of the wider support services available to them to assist with their integration into their new communities leading to an increase in retention.
