Green Trade is an employment social enterprise a business with a social purpose owned and operated by the John Howard Society of Southeastern New Brunswick. Our purpose is to create jobs for people with barriers to employment such as lack of marketable job skills, no job experience, poor coping skills, mental health management issues, or perhaps a criminal record. We provide essential training and support for everyone who is employed with Green Trade, plus they get on-site supervision and coaching. Green Trade is rooted in the housing and construction sector, providing a range of services for property owners and landlords such as cleanouts, patch & paint, groundskeeping, snow clearing, etc. We also provide referral and personnel placement for employers looking to hire experienced workers.
