About this service
Future Horizons Housing provides safe, secure transitional housing to families who meet eligibility requirements. Headstart families both past and present may be potential candidates based on a number of criteria. Twelve transitional, short-term homes across Greater Moncton are leased to Headstart families who can benefit for a limited period of time. Families are provided with regular in-home support services created to assist with the goal of planning their futures beyond the transitional housing phase. Future Horizon homes offer a unique opportunity for families in need to live in various neighbourhoods with affordable rents to help them prepare for life post the transitional supportive housing phase. Funding for Future Horizons Housing is generously provided by NB Housing.
