About this organization
The Institute for Freedom and Justice was established to create and build an understanding of the foundation, spirit, philosophy, and legal force of our Canadian Constitution, including the Charter of Rights & Freedoms and the foundational principles that contribute to good governance and the promotion of our rights and freedoms as Canadians. We aim to cultivate among all Canadiansbut particularly the rising generationan appreciation for the history, ideals, and continuing relevance of the foundational principles that are the cornerstones of Canadian democracy. To that end, we provide immersive, intensive, experiential educational programs for students; training, resources, and mentorship to new and aspiring government leaders; and we fund litigation that defends and upholds the guiding principles of the Canadian Constitution.
