About this service
The Adult Day Program offers excellent care and support to individuals and family on their journey with dementia and other diseases in a non-institutionalized setting.
The goal of the Adult Day Program at York Care Centre is to enhance the clients social engagement level by participating in meaningful programs in a structured yet flexible environment.
The Adult Day Program operates Tuesday through Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm. A healthy lunch and snacks are provided. Some of the activity programs consist of:
Coffee & Chat/Baking
Trivia and Brain Games
Physical Fitness
Music Therapy
Pet Therapy
Other Services available to clients of the Adult Day Program are:

Health Monitoring Services
Tai Chi & Zumba Classes
Spiritual Care Services
We do not aim to fill the time in a day, but to provide meaningful activities that build toward a better overall quality of life and to provide caregivers and clients with excellent care and support
