About this service
We are a charitable organization that has been operating in the Chaleur community for over 11 years and serve over 170 individuals every year. Through our three shelters we provide safe harbor for up to 14 individuals and families every day. We do this by financial support from our Federal and Provincial Governments, and Fundraising initiatives for all operational costs.
Community members and organizations are able to sponsor a bed for $500 per year. Last year, we received 200 admissions, 639 bed nights were used, 6,180 meals or snacks were given and 97 individuals were housed with our help. We are also a registered charity and provide tax receipts for this support.
