About this service
The Challenges faced by a Manitoba Housing Block could not be addressed by the residents by themselves. That is when we were approached to help look at mental health and wellness among older adults in our community. Working together, we were able to help provide information and programs to address bullying and stress, and promote compassion, wellness and tolerance.
The purpose/goal of Youvilles Community Development Program is to work with residents, clients, partners, and community members to find solutions to issues and concerns in the community.
Youville's Community Development Program is unique because it:
- is keenly focused on working directly with members of the community;
- looks at how we can make our community healthy;
- looks at gaps and needs in the community; and
- is exciting, and fun!
