Who can be referred?
Referrals can be made for people experiencing first onset of mental illness age 65 and up; people with lifelong mental illness age 65 and up requiring specialized services.
Mental health issues may include:
- Dementia with behavioural or psychological symptoms
- Mood disorders
- Anxiety
- Psychotic disorders
- Personality disorders
- Emotional, behavioural and cognitive complications of brain diseases
Who can refer?
GMH supports an OPEN referral process.
Physicians, health care professionals, community groups, families and clients may initiate a referral to GMH.
