About this service
Our child-centred environment encourages emotional, physical, social and cognitive development of children. WFPs early childhood educators provide caring support to children and their families
The Playroom also has access to an outdoor space. The side yard offers children opportunities to make discoveries and connections to nature. The garden, sandboxes and greenspace allow children to play, learn, grown and of course get dirty.
Parents remain on site and are welcome to stay and play or go to the drop-in for a cup of coffee, check your email on the computers or participate in one of our workshops or programs.
Respite
From September to June, parents whose kids (aged 1-6) have already spent time in the playroom can pre-arrange for their children to spend a maximum of one morning or afternoon in a week in the playroom, while their parent is off-site. Respite spots are limited, and subject to availability.
