About this service
Connecting to a new community can be difficult at any age. Our Newcomer Youth Wellness Program helps you connect with other youth in the community while increasing your knowledge and skills around mental, physical and social health. Some areas we cover include:
- How to deal with stress, trauma or isolation
- Healthy relationships and boundaries
- Conflict resolution
- Nutrition
- Active living
Our group format creates an open and transparent environment where everyone can participate.
We partner with local schools, which means the program operates during school hours on school grounds. We also operate groups on a drop-in basis after school.
