About this service
The Tune-In Music Program has been an integral part of the West End Cultural Centre for almost as long as the WECC has been around. In normal times, the program offers free music lessons on guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals, twice a week, for youth in the neighbourhood. However, due to the ongoing health crisis, its been impossible to offer these lessons to the our community. Our goal with these lessons is to provide our youth participants with an opportunity to continue their music education in safe manner until theyre able to join us back in the building.
The online lessons are taught by three of our Tune-In teacher; Isaac Hannah, Brian James, and Steven Robertson. The videos can be viewed on both YouTube and Vimeo and range from 15-45 minutes providing instruction on guitar, bass, and drums.
