About this service
The NCC participates in the main events of the Scandinavian Cultural Centre, including the Annual Christmas Market and Caf in November and Folklorama, held every August.
The NCC was founded in 1985. It was preceded by other Norwegian cultural organizations in Winnipeg which date back to 1912.
Our members share Norwegian heritage, though some have been born in Norway and others have family origins in Norway. Other members are interested in learning about Norwegian culture. We promote community and sharing among Norwegian Canadians in Winnipeg.
