About this service
Youth aged 10 to 14 are given the opportunity during July and August to participate in this program and earn a back-to-school shopping spree. They assist people in need by volunteering for 60 hours. For example, youth help with gardening for seniors, community clean up, Winnipeg Harvest and helping at Siloam mission to name only a few. This gives the youth the chance to see the need not only in their home community but in the community of Winnipeg.
