About this service
Each December the Community Ministry is transformed into Santas Workshop, filled with toys and other gifts for neighbourhood children, and, gifts that children can give to their caregivers.
In many Christmas Hamper programs, parents do not get a choice about the gift that their children receive. Here, we set up a store, displaying toys, clothing and other items so that people can pick the gift that they see as best suited to their children. Another space is set up for children to browse and pick a gift for their caregivers. Santas helpers wrap and tag the gifts.
