About this service
Exit Up! was launched in May, 2014, and is a multifaceted program enabling Indigenous youth aging out of the care of Child and Family Services to live interdependently with success. Our youth progress through three phases of housing accommodations congregate, semi-independent and independent with each providing a different level of support. As the individual advances through each phase, the level of support will decrease. Phase 1 of the program begins at the Madison, Siloam Missions supportive housing development, providing a safe, comfortable and inclusive environment emphasizing each individuals sense of value and purpose. As youth develop through the program, they build the necessary skills and confidence to enable more independence as they move into phases two and three of the program in community.
