About this service
Designated by the Province of Manitobas Arts Branch as an Urban Art Centre the Red Road Lodge works in partnership with The Edge Gallery an Urban Art Centre to support emerging artists and local crafters. STUDIO 631 offers mentorship and connectivity to new and emerging artists in a creative environment with a strong focus on Indigenous culture and teachings.
Red Road Lodge residents and community members, many who are homeless receive opportunities to utilize free studio space, access supplies and receive skill development and mentorship. For many marginalized individuals art and creative activities offer a new healing experience and helps them reconnect with their family and community.
