About this service
Yoga Kids is a program integrating reading, storytelling, music, art, yoga and movement to educate the whole child with comprehensive learning. Children learn to stretch, breathe, relax and enjoy in playful ways. This program sets a lifelong foundation for well being and builds self-esteem.
Students can bring their own mats if they wish. The instructor will supply mats for those who do not bring one. Students will use the same mat for each class. Please take the loaned mats home after each class and return them to the instructor at the end of the 10-week session. Other students will be encouraged to only touch their own mat.
Mats will be spaced so social distancing can be maintained.
Activities will involve no contact e.g. no partner poses or games involving touching others.
The instructor will be in charge of all materials. If there is turn taking involved with the materials, the instructor will handle the materials for a specific students turn.
