Palliative Manitoba - Memory Tree

The holiday season is traditionally a time of joy for most. But, for those grieving, it can inspire feelings of loss, loneliness and social isolation. Many grieving people feel out of step with the world around them, yet are reluctant to admit their pain. The Memory Tree provides a way to acknowledge and remember people who have died. Individuals write a personal message on a card and hang it on the Memory Tree. The Tree is displayed at St. Vital Centre in Winnipeg each year during the month of December.

Place a card on the tree during Mall hours from November 27 until December 24.
