About this service
The Employer Partnership Program utilizes a demand-led model, which prepares individuals for full time, meaningful work in Winnipeg. This program simultaneously helps fill labour shortages experienced by Winnipeg employers and provides the supports necessary to help participants achieve success through full time employment. The program curriculum is developed to provide occupationally specific essential skills training and technical training for targeted positions available with the employer partners. As an example, OFE works with Canada Goose to prepare applicants to become Sewing Machine Operators for their growing organization here in Winnipeg.
