Mosaic English Classes - LINC Program

Classes at Mosaic help parents and their children adjust to life in Canada. Students learn English to do everyday tasks like talking to teachers, buying groceries, and asking for help. Classes are for newcomer parents or primary caregivers. Participants are encouraged to make friends and form a social network.

Classes are for beginner to intermediate English speakers, usually Benchmark 1-6.

Newcomers with Permanent Resident status are eligible:

• Must have Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Levels 1 6 assessment
• First priority is given to those participants who need childcare for pre-school aged children aged 6 months 5 years, or who have family commitments that prevent them from attending a full time programme

To join a class, you must go to WELARC for assessment and referral; they will then send a copy of your referral form to Mosaic. Next, Mosaic will contact you to confirm your registration for a class, orif the class is fullput you on the waiting list.
