About this service
The Occupational Health Centre works with a variety of cultural communities in Manitoba to increase their capacity around workplace health and safety through a Train the Trainer Program.
Community trainers trained by OHC provide workshops and individual assistance in their first languages for workers from the following cultural communities:

- Indian (Hindi-speaking)
- Iraqi
- Karen (Burma)
- Punjabi
- Latin American (Spanish-speaking)

- Ukranian
- Yazidi
Community workshops help you learn about your rights for a healthy and safe workplace and where you can go for help if you have a health or safety problem at work. One-on-One counselling is also available for injured workers from newcomer communities.
