About this service
For over thirty years, we have been providing children and adults in Manitoba with essential mobility through the loan of manual and motorized wheelchairs. Our focus is on meeting the basic mobility needs of people who are active and living independently within the community. If you are a community-living Manitoba resident and require a wheelchair for at least six months, please consult a health care professional (Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Family Doctor) to determine whether you are eligible for a wheelchair from our program.
Client Information
Wheelchair Services provides maintenance and repair services in clients' homes, workplaces or schools within the City of Winnipeg and surrounding areas from Mon - Fri (8 AM - 4 PM), excluding Statutory Holidays. Emergency (After Hours) repair service is also available Mon - Fri (4 - 8 PM) and weekends and Statutory Holidays (8 AM - 4 PM).
