About this service
This program is designed to provide the skills necessary for students in Grades 7 and 8 with a diagnosed, identified, or suspected learning disability, to transition successfully into a high school environment.
In small groups, participants learn to identify their individual strengths and areas of improvement, communicate their needs, and develop strategies to prepare for a positive transition to high school. Sessions are taught using a combination of discussion, instruction, and engaging activities.
