Strengthening Families
KIDTHINK supports the entire family system surrounding the child. Children struggling with mental health concerns and/or mental illness are both impacted by, and, in turn, impact their family environments. When the entire family, including siblings, participates in the treatment process, family relationships, communication, and interaction patterns can be strengthened. This leads to improved family functioning and well-being for all.
Mental Health Clinicians can help by offering:
- Family therapy
- Support to siblings
