About this service
Language Bank Services provide over 4000 services to clients a year, including Notary Public, translation and interpretation requests. A total of 50 different languages were requested last year, with the greatest numbers being for Spanish, written Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Punjabi and Mandarin.
Due to availability of resources, interpretation and translation requests are only accepted from approved agencies. Notary Public and verification of translations services are available to all.
All clients must pay for Notary Public services. Verification of translations are free for Permanent Residents only. Clients must pay a small fee for all other services.
Language Bank Services would not be able to do this work without the over 400 interpreters and/or translators registered with them, many of whom are new Canadians themselves. Their professionalism and willingness to help, ensures continued service to both clients and the community at large.
