About this service
EDGE Literacy is funded by the Manitoba Government, Department of Education and Training, Adult Learning and Literacy. EDGE Literacy provides academic upgrading to adults over the age of 19. It is a part-time program designed to help adults learn and improve their academic level and literacy, specifically in the areas of Mathematics and English. EDGE Literacy teaches the Stages curriculum as laid out by Manitoba Adult Learning and Literacy.
Edge Literacy classes are offered Monday to Thursday in the mornings or in the afternoons. The program follows the school calendar and runs from mid-September to mid-June with a three week break in December and one week in the spring.
Class levels range from foundation skills to junior high Stages 1, 2 and 3.
Morning classes are from Monday to Thursday, 9:00am-11:45am.
