About this service
ICSEP aims to provide clients and employees with a chance to connect to the Indigenous culture through experiencing and participating in cultural activities such as crafting, fishing, nature walks, performing in and attending pow wows and maintaining a healing garden. Clients also participate in traditional ceremonies and activities including, but not limited to:
- Sweat Lodge Ceremonies
- Drumming circle
- Medicine picking
- Language exposure
- Sun Dance Ceremonies
- Regalia making
ICSEP provides clients with opportunities to connect one-on-one with Elders and receive guidance using the Seven Sacred Teachings. This program offers an environment where clients can connect with each other, a safe place to be themselves and an atmosphere of enjoyment.
