About this service
The goal of the City of Winnipeg Community Services Departments Fee Subsidy Program is to expand access to recreation opportunities and experiences for Winnipeggers, regardless of family income.
There are 2 main types of subsidies available:
- Facility Passes - Admission to the City of Winnipegs recreation facilities (swimming pools and leisure centres). Valid for one year from the date issued.
- Program Subsidies - Registered Leisure Guide activities (including skating & swimming) as well as dropin active living programs.
You must be a City of Winnipeg resident and one of the following must apply:
- You have a social assistance case number
- You have entered the country as a refugee
- You have a family income below the low income cut-off
Who can use it?
City of Winnipeg residents who receive social assistance, have a low income and/or are refugees
