About this service
High school students come together for career exploration sessions and skill building workshops. Participants focus on social issues in their community. Their focus could include issues like: the environment, youth homelessness, public safety, mental health, cultural diversity.
Career Trek will take these topics and build career exploration sessions. Participants will learn practical skills, and explore careers related to their interests. They will also connect with community organizations. Groups will then create a community service project to put into action. These projects will be student-led, with support and guidance from Career Trek.
CRAVE participants also attend a youth conference during the session. This gives them the chance to meet and connect with participants across Manitoba. Youth engage with post-secondary students, entrepreneurs, community leaders, program partners, and other CRAVE participants.
