About this service
The Leaders-in-Training (LIT) program provides teens with the opportunity to take part in outdoor camps in a capacity that shapes them into potential leaders.
Youth participate in training throughout the year to develop both hard skills (i.e. kayaking, wall climbing, high ropes and camping) and soft skills (i.e. patience, how to talk to kids, leadership and teamwork).
In the end, youth leave with newly built friendships and the momentum to continue with their own personal growth beyond the training program. For some of the youth, they also leave with jobs at various camps! The LIT program starts in Spring and meets periodically leading up to camp in July.
