About this organization
Neighborhood Empowerment and Resource Centre (NEARC Inc.) promotes youth economic empowerment, engagement, leadership, networking, capacity building and ultimately leading towards meaningful job for the newcomer youth. We provide recreational opportunities to newcomer youth where possible.
It is an emerging organization led by well-experienced professionals with long mileage in the development fields. NEARC Inc. works in partnership with other like-minded organizations, thus creating a synergy in actions with limited resources, ensuring positive impetus of service excellence to help newcomer youths.
Through intensive research, community consultations, leadership engagement and youth interactions NEARC has developed an innovative and unique approach to integrate Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth in partnership with Indigenous partner Returning to Spirit Inc.
