Winnipegs Community Centres come in all shapes and sizes, each run by a volunteer board who are responsible for programming and rentals. Community Centres offer a diverse range of programs for all demographics, depending on the amenities of the facility. Whereas the initial emphasis of Community Centre programming was organized sports, it has evolved to include recreation, leisure, fitness, wellness, educational, cultural and social programs.
