About this organization
The Momentum Centre is a non profit training centre that helps launch Aboriginal and New Canadian youth between 18 and 30 in meaningful and ongoing careers they are truly passionate about. We link participants with employers in their fields of interest or expertise for work experience. Participants partake in the Momentum Centre's leadership, initiative, and professional development training twice a week to gain the necessary skills, attitudes, and confidence to bring their best to their workplace and to be successful in their careers of choice. Since 2004, we have partnered through our Youth Work Experience Initiative program with over 50 different employers in the private sector, public sector, and in community organizations.
