About this organization
The Canadian Polish Congress represents the interests of the Polish community towards the citizens and the Canadian government. It promotes awareness and respect for the history and heritage of Poland and the contribution of Poles to the culture of Canada and the world. Coordinates the activities of Polish organizations. It is a Canadian organization founded by Polish immigrants.
The Manitoba KPK represents the local Polish community in contacts with the Winnipeg city authorities and the provincial government. It promotes learning the Polish language and initiates and organizes the celebrations of Polish national holidays. Coordinates the activities of local Polish diaspora organizations.
Congress is a non-profit organization. All its members are volunteers.
