Providing Affordable Housing for Independent Seniors

Winkler Heritage Village is a non-profit organization providing affordable, enriched, independent living for seniors age 55 plus and who may have limited resources.

This four building complex with 115 suites is centrally located in the downtown area of Winkler. The Lions building is connected to the Winkler Senior Center. Across the street is a restaurant, grocery store, pharmacy, small retail mall and the Post office. Within two blocks there is a bank, credit union, medical clinic, another restaurant, coffee shop, church, concert hall and several other businesses.

Winkler Heritage Village is independent living but also offer some services such as, noon meal Monday to Friday, afternoon and evening programming, chair fitness classes and seasonal celebrations.
