About this service
The M.I.L.E.S. Medical Loan Cupboard stocks medical and ambulatory items such as bath chairs, transfer bath chairs, security frames, raised toilet seats, walkers, canes and wheelchairs. This equipment may be loaned out for up to a three month loan period while individuals are recuperating from surgery or illness.
We will also loan to individuals leaving hospitals and have not determined if long term use of such equipment is necessary. This will give the individual evaluation time as well as time to purchase from a reputable dealer.
User fees are pro-rated based on individual equipment value and pre-selected 1, 2, 3 month loan period.
