About this service
To ensure that tenants receive at least one healthy and nutritious meal daily, a meal service is provided in some buildings throughout the province. Meal menus are posted every month and participants are asked to make a reservation at least 3 hours in advance before serving time. One fresh, hot meal is served daily, including a beverage and dessert, for a reasonable cost. Depending on the kitchen, business hours vary and serving times are either at lunch or supper.
Tenants may either dine in with friends and neighbours or have a meal delivered to his or her apartment.
