About this organization
The Swan River Regional Centre opened in November of 2011. The following certificate, diploma, and university level programs have been delivered with instructors and university faculty teaching on-site in Swan River.
Certificate programs of Health Care Aide, Applied Counseling, Basic Business Principles, Heavy Duty Mechanics, Industrial Welding.
Automotive Technician and Carpentry/Woodworking. Diploma programs include Business Administration. First and second year university level courses from UCNs Faculty of Arts, Business and Science. Apprenticeship Level 1 training of Industrial Mechanic and Heavy Duty Mechanic.
The Primary Care Paramedic program has been delivered twice from this Regional Centre.
Computer training and professional development workshops have also been offered.
