Rivers United Church is a vital spiritual community offering friendship, hope and nourishment for the soul to anyone.
Presbyterian services were held in Rivers in 1908 in such varied locations as railway cars, the train station waiting room local business until a church building was constructed on the present site in 1909 for $2,200.
The church was named Knox Presbyterian Church.
After it was built The Methodists and Presbyterians both held services in Knox Church on alternate Sundays.
