About this organization
The West arena of Centennial Arena is an indoor rink and opens seasonally from November 1st to February 28th. The East side arena is being used for recreation vehicle storage seasonally from October to April. The west ice surface of the Centennial Arena is being kept operational thanks to the support of the citizens and businesses of Portage la Prairie and Rural Municipality. This project was started so as to provide the Youth and Adults who participate in recreational skating, hockey, ringette and figure skating access to more ice time in Portage la Prairie for practices and games. It provides a facility for other non-ice activities such as roller skating, roller hockey and indoor softball practices when required. This ice surface also provides a recreational facility in the north-end of the City of Portage la Prairie.
