About this organization
In 1995 the Board of Directors of the Minnedosa District Hospital and Personal Care Home incorporated the Foundation. This was in order to keep the money donated to the local Hospital and Personal Care Home in this district.
The Foundation is made up of a Board of Directors with representatives from the RMs of Minto, Odanah, Harrison, and Saskatchewan, as well as the towns of Minnedosa and Rapid City.
Funds received by the Foundation are held and administered separately from those of the Regional Health Authority.
The Minnedosa & District Recreation Commission provides various different activities and programs throughout the year for adults and children of all ages. During the summer we offer Day Camps that run daily throughout the week, as well as Kayak Club camps and drop-in lessons.
