About this service
We have 16 preschool spaces with a ratio of 1:8. Preschool children are classified as children ages 3-5 years.
Petits Choux Daycare is a bilingual centre, our preschool program Les Adventures Francias is ran from September-June. The program consists of letters A-Z as well as numbers 1-10. Each week the children learn a new letter, as well as words the correspond with the letter. While learning the letters/words in French the children are also taught the signs from ASL. American Sign Language is a great form of communication for non-verbal children, and also teaches the children fine motor skills. This program goes beyond required, while not intimidating the children.
What to expect while your child is at preschool:
- learning through various methods such as crafts, fine motor, gross motor, and attending skills
- peer mentoring and social skills
- learning French and Sign Language
- building relationships with peers and teachers
- having lots of fun!
