About this service
The Youth Centre, an independent community resource, is attempting to meet some of the needs of children, youth, young families and others in the community. Located in proximity to the school it offers a place for students to gather, play games, do homework, and participate in informal and organized activities. The staff recently reduced from two to a single worker has negligible resources yet endeavors to provide a meeting place for various community group-gatherings and maintains a focus on culturally-related activities.
