The Rural Animal Management Services responds to all calls indicating an animal owner is breaking The Rural Municipality of Lac du Bonnet Animal Control By-Law No. 18-18. Calls range from helping with barking complaints, animal attacks, dogs not being properly licensed, and picking up dogs that are found to be running at large. Dogs that are picked up by the Rural Animal Management Services are posted on their website.
The Rural Animal Management Services phone line is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Although, after sunset during the week and on the weekends, they only provide an immediate response to urgent/emergency calls. If you call and get their answering machine, please leave a message and they will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
