About this service
Congregate Meal Programs: We sponsor the congregate meal programs at Roblin Residence and Maple Manor. Seniors are provided with a hot nutritious meal in a family-like setting.
HandiVan: We work with the Town Office co-ordinating the volunteer drivers for the Handivan. Seniors' transportation in Roblin is very affordable at just $2.00 per trip. Out-of-town transportation is provided at $0.35 per kilometre. Call (204) 937-3859 to book the HandiVan.
Meals on Wheels: We co-ordinate 14 community groups to delivery meals to individual's home three times per week.
Filling Out Forms: We help fill out many forms for seniors including OAS, CPP and GIS forms; replacement birth certificates and social insurance cards.
Information and Referral: A one-stop information service for seniors and their families connecting people with Home Care programs, or support groups. We also provide assistance with admission to personal care homes or renting an apartment.
